Does anyone think that if I wanted to practice a spell and in order to practice it I needed someone to throw things at me that it would count as dueling?
In theory it seems to be doing what it's supposed to be. I don't think I'll really know how much it's shielding until people start throwing things at me.
My thinking is that was ball vs ball. Not ball vs spell. It's the thing vs spell that I think opens me up to breaking the 'no dueling' rule. But someone's gotta to test whether or not it counts so I guess learning what it's like to be turned into a puppet wouldn't be the worst thing in all the realms.
[...] It's dangerous to let everything know where you are in Indatha. People here move freely and speak freely and cause all sorts of ruckus without any thought. That's all.
I am too. [...] I wonder who will exaggerate the most.
Those stories are true. But there are all manner of creatures in Ikoria. [...] Indatha is predominantly home to undead monsters, undead people, and nightmares.
I have a few guesses. I made a list. But I doubt it's comprehensive.

Hypothesis #1: Surely a pillow fight wouldn't be against the rules?

They allowed us to play dodgeball. I can't see a pillow fight being more dangerous than that.

But if you're keen to experiment, then, no. Being a puppet doesn't seem all that bad. [...] I have to admit, I'm a little curious.

Can I take that to mean you're volunteering to throw things at me?

Do I need to bring pillows or do you have a sufficient supply?

Are you free tonight or do we need to make a plan for a day and time?

Adventuring? [...] Hopefully they don't get into too much trouble. But I'm sure we'll hear all about it either way.
Where should we meet?

I'm looking forward to the stories.
At the clock tower?

Sounds good.

Now that's a good question. But I'm afraid I didn't keep track of who went.

That doesn't sound appealingI guess that's why it's important to be quiet.Do you have some nominations for "Most Likely to Exaggerate"?
