Lunulata might be particularly drawn to a silver compact mirror which is shaped like a clam shell. When he reaches out to touch it, though, it gives him a firm bite on the finger.

"Sorry!" Lorixi chirps from the front counter of the store. "That's just Bugsy."

Bugsy, she explains, is her pet mimic. He likes hiding in the store and biting unsuspecting customers. Lorixi has to feed him an entire dried sardine before he lets go of Lunulata's finger.
